The armed conflicts and natural disasters have led to the family separations throughout the world. Tracing program aims at re-establishing links of families separated by such situations. The reunification of family members separated, is done through process under the requirements of their identifications, registration, restoring the links of separated individuals and eventually the reunification of family members. This program enables the communication between the individuals separated during the armed conflicts and disasters. There are forms to fill in to enable the re-establishment of contacts between separated families. They provide details about the separated news. The responses are conveyed and it has proved to often have a positive result. The beneficiaries of this program are the refugees and the people displaced inside the country. Rwanda Red Cross develops and implements the tracing program to enable the reunification of separated families by armed conflicts and natural disasters
Rwanda Red Cross Society (RRCS) commenced its operations in Rwanda in 1964. It was created through a presidential decree number 8/13 of 29 December 1964.
